Report: Indonesia Pertamina, Rosneft to decide on Tubane plant '23

MOSCOW, Nov 25 (PRIME) -- Indonesia's national oil producer Pertamina and Russia's Rosneft will make an investment decision on joint construction of a refinery in Tubane in 2023, portal Tribun reported on Friday.

Pertamina CEO Taufik Adityawarman said that the companies continued discussing the issue.

"This project must be economically beneficial for both sides, this is why we have to assess all risks and prospects," the official said.

Indonesia estimated the investment at U.S. $24 billion. The project is at the stage of engineering, purchases and choice of the construction contractor.
